Back

I'll be going back to school next Wednesday, the 22nd.  Its been a very long yet very short summer, but its been a very nice one too. I got more into blogging over the summer, but I'm going into 9th grade and I think I will have to be doing so less and less. I have a history of procrastinating.. a lot. I tell myself that will change but I know very well that it won't. Anyways, time to focus.
.... I feel really big and old and cool just because of the fact that I'm going into high school. I know once I get there that won't really be the case, because really we're just a bunch of naive 14 and 15 year-olds that sit at the very bottom of the food chain. I know absolutely nothing, but I'll learn. I wonder what it will be like when the day comes that I will never have to say "I'm going back to school" ever again. Sounds a bit scary, but it also sounds a bit like heaven.

Heaven. Friends. Food. Light. Social Status. Art/Creativity. Food. Work. Cats. Fashion.

I had

"I had a desperate need, which I think most artists do, to communicate...to feel
that whatever it is inside me, cutting or going crazy or whatever it is I'm feeling,
... there's something inside of us, we wanna reach out, we wanna talk to each other,
we wanna throw our emotions and our thoughts out and hope that we make some
sense or we get an answer... we want to just emote and hope there'll be a response.”
― Angelina Jolie              "For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed
that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the
wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck
about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always
believed that they were far more intelligent than manfor precisely the same reasons.”
― Douglas AdamsThe Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy               The major problem
one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems
with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to
get people to let them do it to them. To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those
people who must want to rule people are, ipso facto, those least suited to do it. To
summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made
President should on no account be allowed to do the job.”
― Douglas AdamsThe Restaurant at the End of the Universe                     “What to do
if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can't
move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to
so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your current
circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won't be troubling
you much longer.”
